MDJ is a self-funded open-access journal, published in both electronic and print versions. Article publishing fees charged to authors are the only source of income used to cover administrative fees, membership fees, and printing costs, supported by the College of Dentistry where space, staff, and equipment are provided and the researcher only incurs publication fees
